I love the idea of "exquisite attention". I made a friend (dear to me to this day) at my first WDS in 2015, who introduced me to Camp GLP — and so, to Jonathan as well — and much like practicing exquisite attention, the two experiences you both created were so transformative to my life and my relationships! Forever grateful.

Thanks you Chris and Jonathan for sharing the interview.

The awesome insight for me was, “Uncertainty is the gateway to possibility.” Therefore, “Learn to dance with uncertainty.” I have recently been facing so much uncertainty and Jonathan’s thoughts affirmed the my taking uncertainty by the hand and walking with it. “Dance with uncertainty”, is an even more beautiful metaphor than walking.

“Text roulette” is something I’ve done for a long time. My practice is not as much as by chance, instead in moments when a name pops into my mind for “no reason”, I text the friend with what comes to mind to greet and encourage them.

Peace and good health to all

Jonathan's Good Life Project podcast was the VERY FIRST podcast I listened to...and the work you both did/do was instrumental in opening me up to a different way of seeing both my professional and personal life. Loved this interview...and am happy to see you both on Substack!

Chris, thanks for giving us a tasty serving of Jonathan Fields. I've been admiring his measured-yet-often-exuberant work since we were both members of Seth Godin's Triiibes network more than a decade ago. Dancing with uncertainty is a strong reminder to face fresh winds, even if sharp ones, with knowing they are life-giving air as well. Thanks!

What hit me was how important it is to keep assuming everyone doesn't know everyone. 15 years is a long time to know about Jonathan Fields or any professional colleague. Still, I delight in learning about him today. Never too late to share what and who you know with others, right?
