So excited for this!! 😊 I’d say being consistent is the toughest for me. I enjoy variety but need routine. I usually do more than I’d expect if I’m able to start. I struggle prioritizing goals that would make the biggest impact.
Greatest challenge in doing things I think for me is overthinking them. What if? Who will care? The impact might be ___. I just get so lost in future thought that present thought gets distracted or worse, shelved entirely.
Starting is hard because I know I can't see the results right away. Like applying for jobs, it may take weeks or months, but I still have to sit and do it.
I struggle with doing what I truly want to do, especially with the difficult anxiety inducing projects that challenge my skills or need skill building… the anxiety is related to actually not believing that I’m good enough or will ever be good enough, so I don’t even get started.
Usually when looking for adhd skills training or therapy it’s all about how to get organized or how to do the things you find boring… but I’ve already automated and systemized the day-to-day, and haven’t found anything to help me with the difficult but emotionally rewarding stuff, and procrastinate with stuff that may give me quick dopamine fixes…
This is WONDERFUL news Chris, I am patiently awaiting my login details for the course! For me getting started is never the issue (other than the fact that I start too many things), my greatest challenge once I've started is committing to doing "the thing" consistently. Hopefully this course will help me in my follow through specifically on things that I would rather not be doing!
Too many things on "the list" make it difficult to pick what to focus on, when to switch to something else (because I'm now so focused on the thing I started) and how to leave it for the day.

Finding blue sky thinkers to help me with bringing ideas and plans to fruition.
Prioritizing so I know where to start, getting started, and then making sure I finish!

Getting started.
Prioritising. I agonise over what to do first and then never start
Procrastination, just getting started.
Routine as a helpful guideline, not a punitive rule
Getting started. So hard!
Getting started...I procrastinate about almost everything.
Understandable. :)
I haven’t ever found the log-in details for the course. Where should I look?
