This is what my ‘Lil Mission’ adresses-

That the most invaluable source of human purpose and pleasure is connection- to oneself, to other people and to the planet.

This is the one thing AI cannot take from us.

Sounds great! Helping others is much needed in this very individualistic society. Human connection is severely lacking as I witness every day people with their face buried in their cellphone. So sad! Keep up the good work and I am wishing you much success and connection with the conference

No time to feel lonely! Never thought ahead to what I would be doing in my nineties...Sharing a lifetime of information on the internet on a daily basis...and hardly any time to get to writing my own weekly free health and nutrition newsletter at barbaracharis.substack.com

Amazing! I love that, Barbara. I'll subscribe to your Substack. :)

This conference looks really cool. But I have a young adult on the spectrum who has limited ability to tolerate noise, crowds and social interaction. Does this event have stuff for someone like that?

Thanks, Victoria! And yep, that's our plan and your young adult won't be the only one. There are a lot of details on how it works in the FAQ section of the site (scroll to the bottom).

Thank you so much! I will take a look!

I am working on helping people feel more connected. I started a Substack focused on community, particularly in adulthood.

it’s so true that even with all our technology and social platforms, loneliness is still a huge part of the human experience. I love the reminder that helping others—small acts of kindness or simply being present—can be a real antidote to that. Excited to see how NeuroDiversion continues to grow and create these connections!

Thank you Chris. I find the podcast “The Happiness Lab “ to have a lot of scientific pieces of research relevant to the subjects of lonliness and happiness. I appreciate your substack and the comments following.

You should check out the term "mattering" - I just ran across it in my research as I looked at the overlap between neurodiversity, faith, and moral injury. Great article though. I think there needs to be a transition back from being super globally aware to self awareness. I think this is one pillar that will help with the loneliness.
