INTRODUCING: A Year of Mental Health
New posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7am Pacific time.
Iām starting a new, yearlong project! All of the details are in this post, and Iād love for you to join in.
Okay, letās get to it!
It's time for something new.Ā
Introducing a new project of self-discovery.Ā
Whose project? Ours.Ā
Three times a week in 2024 I'll be sharing a new, detailed post about mental health and productivity.
I'll write about my journey of ADHD and entrepreneurship, learning to understand neurodivergence, and everything thatās worked/hasnāt worked.
I'll also share some personal stories I've never told before.Ā In the next post, for example, Iāll tell you about how everything was going just fine for meāuntil it wasnāt.
My goal is to serve a new, organic community throughout the year, all centered around mental health awareness and learning to work differently.
Most of all, I hope it will be helpful.Ā
Helpful to whom? Well ... maybe to you! Everyone is welcome to read, but I'm writing specifically for:Ā
Anyone who wants to "do more" with their life but feels frustrated with common productivity adviceĀ (sadly, a lot of it is actually counterproductive)
Anyone who identifies as neurodivergent or has symptoms of ADHD, OCD, ASD, or PTSD (among others)
Anyone who feels generally overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood
If that's you, or if you're just curious, please join in and follow along!
How It Works
A new post will arrive by email every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7am Pacific time
Most posts will have comments enabled on the site, and Iāll respond to as many as I can. Weāre going to build real community throughout the year
Be prepared for adventure! A few surprises will develop along the way š š š¤Æ

Not into it? No worries! I still have the daily podcast and I'm editing a new book, but this will be my primary work of 2024.

If we havenāt connected in a while, feel free to hit reply to say hi, or post a comment on the shiny new home for this project. š
Congratulation Chris on this new endeavor. Itās so weird, my husband and I were just thinking about you last night as we clinked our WDS champagne glasses getting ready to bring in the new year. I actually said, āI wonder what Chris is up to these days?ā. And here you are! Is that weird or wha?!! I am happy to be following this community as my teenage son has ADHD. Canāt wait to learn more.
Chris, so glad to see this happening. I came to recognize my ADHD over the past year (which is about time, and it's explained so much about my life decisions, mistakes, struggles and adventures over the first 55 years of my life. I'm very much looking forward to engaging with your story and the insights and questions you bring!
