Two quick things if you’re in a hurry:
1. Save the date for a Community Call: May 22nd at 12pm Pacific time
2. Take this quick survey if you can (it’s short and easy): May Reader Survey
More news below!
It’s been a fun start to the year-long series—more than 60 posts in so far—and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been reading.
We are building community in lots of ways, from several thousand reader comments to lots of discussions taking place when other writers link to the posts.
Here’s a new way to get together: I’m going to be hosting semi-regular community check-in calls. Each call will have a theme, I’ll share some updates and stories, and anyone who joins in will be able to ask questions.
You’re also perfectly welcome to join and remain on mute—rest assured that any meeting I host will always be introvert friendly. 🙂
To kick off the first one, I’d like to know more about your interests.
Short Reader Survey: What Would You Like to Know About?
What’s the #1 thing you want to know about?
—> Take the very short and to-the-point survey here.
In addition to focusing the upcoming call on what people most want to hear about, knowing what people are interested in helps me plan the regular posts.
Call Details
This call will be held on May 22nd at 12pm Pacific time (3pm ET / 7pm GMT). Save the date if you’d like! I’ll share a private link for the call a bit closer.
* Unfortunately there isn’t a single time zone that works for everyone in the world. But there will be a recording for those who can’t attend live.
If you haven’t done so already, please upgrade your subscription if you’d like to join the call. You can do so for just $6/month, or get two months free when you sign up for a year. I very much appreciate your support!
(And as always, I don’t want cost to be a limiting factor for anyone. If you’d like to request a scholarship, just email team @ chrisguillebeau dot com. Include the word “Scholarship” in the subject line and we’ll get you set up.)

If you’ve been reading a while, you’ve probably noticed that this is a very personal project. I’m building it in public, and it works best when I know that people are engaged one way or another.
So, for those who’ve been following—thank you! The best is yet to come. 🙏
