It was so insightful to see your perspective on your work. To be blunt, 2024 has been the hardest year of my life and my first full year with my AuDHD diagnosis. Following along on this newsletter has given me more insight into how to live well with this diagnosis than any book or therapist I've heard from. So thank you for everything you do - it truly has a positive impact on others.
Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing the highs and lows of 2024 for you. Iβm in the process to reflect myself and we donβt give ourselves enough credit on dealing with life and all the surprises it delivers from us.
Iβm a silent reader and just wanted to share Iβve really enjoyed the newsletter! Thank you so much for all your work. Looking forward to the book! Happy holidays!
I loved the idea of shooting for 51% integrated. I think it puts the emphasis on the right thing (more>less integrated) rather than on some arbitrary goal that's probably impossible to measure.
Thanks for another piece of wisdom and constant inspiration for annual reviews!
Chris, congratulations on so many solid things that went well, and I share some of your lament on the shadow side of "not so good." Thank you for the sound guidance you've given us all year. I'm hoping to be able to look for the good in 2025, and will think about the bigger choices ahead, as you suggest.
I always enjoy reading your review and this year was no exception. I've tried to do a review either doing this one or the unravel your year. I wasn't sure I would do it for 2024, but after reading yours, I think I will do some sort of review and planning. My biggest issue is the follow through, at some point I hope to finally overcome that issue and get going on things. Thank you for all that you do in your writing.
I love that you took the 80% integration down to 51% with the goal of being more integrated than less. I think that's a great mental adjustment I can try to incorporate since I struggle with so much self-imposed pressure to be "perfect". Looking forward to taking some time for my own annual review :-)
I have really enjoyed and benefited from your work in this space this year and hope that you will continue into 2025 (and would be happy to sign up again if it is a yearly subscription). Happy holidays and I'm hoping that you might make it to Vancouver Island in 2025 (have you ever been here - I feel like when I've seen you in person it's been in Vancouver rather than over here in Victoria)?

Thank you for sharing!! Seeing all that you've accomplished in 2024 was truly inspiring :)
Oh wow didn't realise you only started this newsletter this year, great job!

Excellent post, Chris! I like to read these with my morning cuppa. I agree with Victoria about the therapist thing! Keep 'em coming! Onward!
