Announcing NeuroDiversion, a 3-Day Celebration and New Community
Join us in Austin, Texas March 27th-29th, 2025 for a very special event.
Hello, friends and readers!
A special announcement about a very special event: I’m starting a new in-person gathering focused around neurodivergence, and I’d love for you to be part of it.Â
The inaugural event will be held in Austin, Texas in March 2025.Â
If you’d like to be there—or at least be kept updated on ticket sales—join the dedicated waiting list so you’ll be the first to know all the details. ✨✨✨
I’ve always believed there’s something special about in-person events. It’s why I’ve held more than 300 reader meetups around the world, and why I continue to go on book tour, usually to at least 15 cities each time I have a new book out.
As I’ve delved much further in the world of mental health, I’ve noticed that something is missing. Simply put, there is NO in-person event that brings together creators, educators, and everyone else interested in the topics of ADHD and neurodivergence.Â
(There are some conferences for academics and clinicians, but those are different. Also, they tend to be very conferenc-y. This will be much livelier and interactive.)
ND25 is an in-person celebration of neurodiversity, designed to be ADHD and sensory-friendly from start to finish.
We’re going to make something new and special: an in-person (not virtual!) gathering to make memories and new friends.Â
We’ll have some main stage programming with keynote speakers, but the focus of the event will be on everyone who attends. Anyone can propose a meetup or short workshop, and attendees will choose how to spend the majority of their time at the event.Â
Our goal is to bring together people who feel left out of other conferences or events, and who want to connect with people who understand them.
The inaugural event will be held from March 27-29, 2025 in Austin, Texas.
Who It’s For
Some of this info is also on the new website, neurodiversion.org.
Anyone who identifies with ADHD or any other neurodivergent condition (including non-diagnosed—this is not a clinical or academic event)
Creators, influencers, and teachers seeking to build positive, lifelong relationships
Parents and partners of neurodivergent folks
Last but not least, teens and older kids are welcome, too!
*The new event is focused on ADHD and neurodivergence, but if you like the vibes of my newsletter and community, you’ll fit right in.
FeaturingÂ
Fireside chats with bestselling authors, creators, and leaders
Short workshops on topics like executive functioning, mindfulness, family systems (+ many more)
Meetups of all kinds (and you can host your own if you'd like)
Body-doubling work sessions to get something done with a friend
Fun, games, and adventure integrated throughoutÂ
Best of all: friendships you'll make that will endure for years to come. We are leaning heavily into the community aspect of the entire experience.Â
NeuroDiversion is the Successor Event to WDSÂ
Way back in 2011, I had the idea to invite 440 of my closest friends to Portland, Oregon for the inaugural World Domination Summit (WDS).
From there, the event continued every year for a decade, bringing together more than 10,000 people in search of Community, Adventure, and Service.Â

In two decades of projects, WDS is truly the experience I’m most proud of creating. The event came to a natural end after 10 years—and ever since, I’ve been secretly hoping to start something new. (But it had to be right, and now it’s right.)Â
We’re starting new in Austin next year, and if you were part of WDS at any point, I’d love for you to bring the positive vibes to NeuroDiversion.Â
And if you missed out on WDS, that’s okay—now’s the time to be part of pioneering an all-new community.
I’m extremely excited (really!) and I hope you’ll join us in making something very special.Â
Will I see you in March? Let me know if you might be able to make it.
P.S. For more details, join the waiting list. That list is exclusively for communication about the event and will be the first place where announcements are made.
The last WDS was my first WDS - and what an incredible experience it was! I can’t wait to attend NeuroDiversion. It’s already on my calendar 🤗
Oh my word Chris! I always wanted to get to WDS.
This is going on my calendar as a huuuuuuuge goal!
